My school

I go to the Apostolado school in spanish its called "Colegio del Apostolado" ,  i've been here since 2007 , if you have pretty good math skills you know i'm in the 11th grade, junior year. I've been in this school so long i know pretty much everything about it , so I will tell you about my school.


My school is catholic , their mision is to see us grow academically and personally in the hands of Jesus. This is their motto :


It says '' We want to make  the heart of Jesus known by our own heart" . This is a quote of our founding father Valentín Salinero . The father Salinero with the religous of the Apostolado founded the ''Colegio del Apostolado" the 18th of december 1891 in the Habana,  Cuba.

This is a school with a lot of history and values , it's not an ordinary school, we have a lot of activities  
entrusted to Jesus, we even have have a name for this family we call ourselves ''apostolinos'', we do a  week full of fun conmemoring the birth of the founding father at the end of this week we have a Rally apostolino, amazing trips, good education,friendly teachers and students, and much more , I highly reccomend this school.

Activities 

There is a lot of activities as much as in the scholars hours and out of the scholars hours. We have arts, sports like soccer and volleyball, differents types of trips like school hours trips to beautiful and historical places of the country , religous trips , spiritual trips,  recreative trips, etc. One of the most excting trips are th Pico Duarte only for high schools students  and the Saona trip for the seniors but this is only two of all the ones we do . We also have a chorous for high schoolers , and music classes for the little kids , Rally apstolino (mentioned earlier) , activities for the juniors and seniors, competitions of math, competions of films , and a ton of things more. This is an idea of some of the activities , it's not only taking classes in this school .

This is just a little from my school , in conclusion it's pretty amazing full of love, faith and learning .

Apostolado's debate tournament

Apostolado's debate tournament 2018 This tournament took place December 17th and 18th of the year 2018 at the Colegio del Apostolado, with  52 participants and 26 teams from the grades drom 9th grade to 12th grade. Where 9th & 10th grade debated the resolution : The USA should open its borders to Central American caravans for humanitarian reasons. And 11th and 12th grade resolution :It is beneficial for  the UK to leave the European Union.Where the winners were of the first resolution were the stuents of 10th grade Miranda Caminero and Mia Cocco and the winners of the second resolution were Anabella Pellarano from 11th grade and Luna Cocco from 12th and the best speech for Samir Morla, Congratulations !
