Apostolado's debate tournament 2018

This tournament took place December 17th and 18th of the year 2018 at the Colegio del Apostolado, with  52 participants and 26 teams from the grades drom 9th grade to 12th grade. Where 9th & 10th grade debated the resolution : The USA should open its borders to Central American caravans for humanitarian reasons. And 11th and 12th grade resolution :It is beneficial for  the UK to leave the European Union.Where the winners were of the first resolution were the stuents of 10th grade Miranda Caminero and Mia Cocco and the winners of the second resolution were Anabella Pellarano from 11th grade and Luna Cocco from 12th and the best speech for Samir Morla, Congratulations !

I was one of the participants of this Debate Tournament I was defending wheter or not the resolution of the grades of 11th and 12th grade. I can say that I know how to do a debate after that; it was rough weeks but it was worth it because me and my partner, and I believe all of highschool students, learnd something from this .  We had a lot of help from our coachs every single day even until the lasts hours, this was something we never did before, but our coachs made everything easier.

I just can't say my partner and I did just gain two debates we gain so much more, experience and knowledge. You can ask us anything about the UK leaving the EU and we will answer and I think thar is our favorite part of all of it.

Debates tournaments are something incredible and essential, so many students like me are looking forward for a Apostolado's Debate Tournament 2019. So grateful for this experince and I hope next time I'll have a post of another Apostolado's debate tournament.
